Origins of Doha Team Teaches at Compass School

The Origins of Doha Project Team visited the 2nd grade at Compass International School in Doha last week to teach students about the old buildings of Doha. We put on our archaeology goggles to imagine how buildings looked in the past, and how people might have lived before air conditioning!

After we learned about how buildings can help us understand how people lived in the past, we colored an actual archaeological illustration of the Gypsum House. By coloring in the illustration, we demonstrated the difference between old and new parts of the building.
